Who would name a tobogganing team for a cockatiel? Dad and Richard and me, that’s who! Team Beatrice Strawberry Bird (otherwise known as Team Cockatiel) did NOT win the Family Race at the Camden Snowbowl Toboggan Championships. But it was fun!!!!! At the very end, we crashed, and ended up in a team jumble. Dad and I were proud of Richard because he actually doesn’t love the outdoors or going fast.
“I did it for Beatrice Strawberry Bird,” he smiled at us later, but I think he really did it for me. P.S. I think we won gold in Hot Chocolate Drinking, or at least we would have, if there was a medal for that!
